Course Description and Goals: 



The main goal of the course is to let students to investigate and present the advanced and latest research work and techniques in 3D computer graphics, geometric processing, human-computer interaction, and visualization. All the course topics and materials are selected from most recently premier journal and conference papers in computer graphics, visualization, and computer vision fields, such as ACM TOG, IEEE TVCG, IEEE TPAMI, SIGGRAPH, IEEE Visualization, IEEE VR, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, etc. The following topics will be covered (tentative):

  • 3D Machine Learning for Graphics and Vision  
  • 3D Machine Learning for Geometry and Modeling  
  • 3D Machine Learning for Visualization  
  • 3D Machine Learning for 3D Medicine  
  • 3D Mixed Reality (Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality) and Interactions

All the course topics and materials are selected from top journals and conferences in computer graphics, visualization, and computer vision fields, such as ACM TOG, IEEE TVCG, IEEE TPAMI, SIGGRAPH, IEEE Visualization, IEEE VR, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, etc.
